Listen to Me!
Thinking about: Substack
Hi, everybody,
I have now published more than a hundred @MoreBetterThinking Substack essays. In the first twenty-one, I explain what it means to be a Thinker, with a capital T. It doesn’t just mean that you think a lot; it means that you optimize your mind by reasoning rather than feeling your way to conclusions. The ninety Substack posts I have subsequently published are exercises in “applied thinking.”
To derive maximum benefit from these later posts, you would do well to read the first twenty-one of them. Many long-time subscribers will have done this, but there are hundreds of thousands of relative newcomers who probably haven’t. With this in mind, I recently made my early posts more accessible by publishing narrations of them: see https://morebetterthinking.substack.com/s/more-and-better-thinking-audios2b6.
I am now making it even easier for subscribers to familiarize themselves with the initial posts. As of today, you can access them on your favorite podcast app. Put them on your playlist, and you can listen while driving or walking. The podcasts are only five-ish minutes long, meaning that in less than two hours, you can get up to speed on the Thinker concept.
On Spotify, the narrations can be found at https://open.spotify.com/show/033ItAVrE0omv6ZMXKtAFt
On Apple Podcasts, they can be found at https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/how-to-think-more-and-better/id6786886442
To find them on other podcast apps, search for “How to Think More and Better.” Doing this might turn up both my podcast and an Audible production of my book. To hear the latter, you must purchase the book on Audible, but you can listen to my podcasts for free.
If there is sufficient demand for these narrations, I will start dual-releasing new Substack posts, both as texts and as podcasts. I will also convert my “applied thinking” posts to audio, so subscribers can more easily access them.
Enjoy!
